Richmond County Sheriff's Office Investigators arrested several suspects today in connection with Burglaries and Thefts from the Augusta-Richmond County Recreation Department at Diamond Lakes (Case# 14-106914).

RCSO responded to The Diamond Lakes Recreational Department Maintenance facility this morning in reference to a Burglary and Theft which upon arrival it was found that suspects stole a 2001 Ford F-150 pickup truck (Marked with Augusta-Richmond County Decals), a utility trailer which was then used to take a 2013 Cushman’s Utility Golf Cart all belonging to Augusta-Richmond County. The investigation led RCSO Deputy’s and Investigators to 1349 B Hephzibah-McBean Road. Upon arrival several subjects were located in the rear of this residence with all three pieces of stolen equipment. The following suspects were arrested in connection with the Burglary and Theft at Diamond Lakes on today’s date (5-19-14):

2cts of Theft by Receiving Stolen Property

Anthony Stephen Farrow (45yoa) **This suspect fled upon deputies arrival into nearby wooded area and was later apprehended by deputies**

During the course of this investigation, information obtained showed that one of the listed suspects was involved in a similar theft at the same Diamond Lakes Facility on 5-3-14 (Case# 14-093595) at which time tools and a Cushman Truckster 5 speed utility golf cart was stolen. While this incident is being investigated, the below listed suspect was arrested in connection with receiving this stolen piece of property belonging to Augusta-Richmond County:
