Access to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office will be by APPOINTMENT ONLY until:

? To obtain an Accident Report please go to: BuyCrash.com or the insurance company can submit a fax request to 706-821-1012.
? If you are requesting a copy of an incident report for official business, please contact 706-821-1010.
? Georgia Criminal History Record Checks will not be disseminated until this building has been opened to the public.
? Vehicle Claim Checks will be released by appointment only. Appointments can be scheduled by calling 706-821-1010 and requesting to speak with the On-Duty Supervisor. Appointments will be scheduled after the registered owner has emailed or faxed a copy of the driver’s license, proof of insurance, and any outstanding paperwork to the on-duty supervisor.
? Differential reports can be taken over the phone by calling 706-821-1010.

? Shelter Clearances Requests will follow the same procedure as the after-hours requests. The responding deputy will contact the Radio Room to clear the requester and disseminate the required paperwork to the individual.

Effectively immediately the Charles B. Webster Detention Center will be working as a limited access facility until April 1, 2020. During normal visiting hours the following directives will apply:
• LAW ENFORCEMENT: (ALL) law enforcement personnel will continue to have access as needed to perform their duties.
• ATTORNEYS: Will be by appointment only as ordered through the courts or by a judge.
• VISITATION: The visitation center will be closed until April 1, 2020.
• PROPERTY: Will be limited to those who are in need of keys, and any monetary items left in property. Those seeking restitution will have to make an appointment to receive their property by calling (706) 821-1107.
• COMMISSARY KIOSK/ FUND TRANSFERS: Access to the kiosk will be unavailable during this limited access period. Those who wish to place funds on an inmates account may do so by going to www.mycarepack.com.
• BONDS: Will be done in the main lobby.
PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THESE PRECAUTIONS ARE
NECESSARY TO KEEP EVERYONE SAFE GIVEN THE CURRENT
NATIONAL CLIMATE. WE WILL CONTINUE TO MONITOR AND ASSESS THE CIRCUMSTANCES AS THEY EVOLVE.
