Deputy Tricia Bourne,

On October 29, 2016, Deputy Jason McQuaig, Deputy Ty Dailey and Deputy Tricia Bourne were dispatched to Meadowbrook Drive in reference to a suicide attempt by a 60-year-old W/M. Upon arrival, the deputies were met outside of the residence by the complainant who led them to the garage where the subject was lying in a pool of blood on the garage floor. The subject’s wrists and neck had been cut extensively with a steak knife by the subject. The deputies had the complainant get towels from the resident and Deputy Ty Dailey began applying pressure on the subject’s neck while Deputy James McQuaig and Deputy Tricia Bourne began applying pressure on each wrist to stop the bleeding until EMS arrived. Gold Cross MED unit 27 arrived on the scene and stabilized the subject and transported the subject to AUMC for treatment.
